C.B. South Varsity Football Wrap-Up

Our "post-season football" action sports coverage took us into C.B. South Titans territory this year as we photographed two District One playoff games at the Titans home stadium in Warrington. In what proved to be their final game this season, the Titans demonstrated championship-class football even into the game's final seconds with offensive drives that erased much of the persistent lead held by Downingtown West throughout the game. Battling back from a 24-17 deficit at half-time, the Titans last scoring attempt came up just short as time expired with a final score of 45-38 in favor of Downingtown West.

Below are some photo highlights from Round 2 in the PIAA 2007 Class AAAA district playoffs... followed by another exclusive David Nicholas Creatives slideshow!

And since the response to our first Titans slideshow was so positive, we produced one more for playoff game 2... so turn up your PC's audio, click on the "play" icon below and enjoy!!!

And some of these daytime images have been mastered with our unique artistic processing that yields a very subtle "painterly" or nostalgic sports billboard look.

A few recent images from the Council Rock South and Council Rock North JV games are included below. And the complete CB East JV Football 2007 Season image gallery can be viewed by clicking the highlighted link. Enjoy!!!

C.B. East Varsity and JV Football Teams Victorious Over William Tennent

The Patriots varsity football team shutout the Panthers 38-0 last Saturday evening, followed by a JV team victory on Monday afternoon in oppressive 92-degree heat feeling more like August instead of October.

So this week our C.B. East football blog entry features a glimpse into some "daylight" football action from the East vs Tennent Junior Varsity game. More images will be posted to our varsity and JV photo albums soon. Enjoy!!!

East Celebrates a Commanding 42-17 Football Win Over West

Make no mistake about it. The East/West football rivalry is still "the" game in town, and football fans knew it as soon as they entered War Memorial Field on Friday evening. Few events generate the level of enthusiasm, school spirit and intensity that has become a trademark of this decades-old tradition.

This year the Patriots scored first, they scored with precision, and they never gave up the lead throughout the evening. Solid teamwork generated the Patriots' 42 points, resulting in touchdowns by Devon Passman (2), Nick Seeger (2), Teddy Trymbiski and Nick Miller, along with extra points by Peter Benz at each TD.

A few action photo "favorites" from the game are included below... and we'll be posting our multi-media slideshow of images soon. So watch this space closely!!!
