Patriots Hold On for Victory Over Titans

Normally, when opposing teams only score one goal each, the score would be tied 1-1. But yesterday, the scoreboard started with CB East leading 8-7 with only 6 minutes 28 seconds remaining in a game suspended due to lightning on May 1st.

One goal by CB South's Chris Mohapp... answered quickly with one goal by CB East's Kyle Quist... followed by a spectacular save by CB East goalie Chase Kulda were the key events finalizing the win for the Patriots. And while this segment of the game was short on time, it definitely wasn't short on intensity and emotion -- as highlighted in the following photos:

The 9-8 win by CB East helps keep the Patriots' hopes alive for both the Suburban One League title as well as "post-season" participation in the upcoming EPSLA Tournament.
